Happy Halloween!

Hi everyone!!!!

I know I keep saying this, but I am going to get back into the groove soon! This is just crazy..I don't know how time flys by each week, but I really need to get into gear and get back to what I love. Life has really slowed down this week with our German students leaving, so I think its a good time to get back into gear! Plus I decided to make "me" time part of my day again!

Now..may I say...I love the new halloween images at Squiggle stamps! I am having too much fun with all of them!!! This not so scary guy is name simply "vampire boy" and of course you can find him here in the squiggle stamps shop!

I am so proud of myself, my papers are some more scraps I had around. I am trying so hard to make use of all of them. With the purple and green color combo, I just love the way the two fit in with halloween colours! My sentiment is just a sticker I had and I added a few embellishment bats and a little bling to make it extra spooky. Its hard to see, but I even added some crystal effects to the cape so it looks shiny and glossy.

Don't forget about the Squiggles Challenge that ends on the 30th. The theme is autumn and you can get all the details here. Your chance to get some free goodies!!! We all love free goodies!

I LOVE candy

Hello everyone..

So sorry it's been a while, I have been under the weather and finally getting back on my toes again. Also, we have also had a couple of exchange students from Germany with us since last week, so life as we know it has not been quite the same.

I had so much fun on the blog hop and I hope everyone followed each blog and had a good time and maybe even won a goodie or two along the way! I wanted to keep going with the fun new Halloween images Squiggle Stamps has released. This little lady is called "Mummy Ghoul" and I had so much fun making her sparkle and shine with some stardust glitter and a little bit of shading. My paper and embellishments are from my ever growing stack of scraps. They are from a K&Co collection and I thought they all fit perfect together. With this little girl holding her hands open wide, I thought it was perfect for holding the I love candy embellishment. I just added a little wire and finished.

I hope everyone has a wonderful week and I hope you get a chance to play with all of the new fun images in the squiggle store!

Happy Birthday Tiny Bag

Good Morning!!!

I can't tell you how excited I am about my project to share with you today. I didn't want to make just a card this week for the squiggles blog and thought I needed to have some gift card ready packages anyway, so make a fun bag/box. I used my cricut to cut out the tiny tote and used the "candle cupcake" stamp from squiggle stamps to finish it off. This is where digital makes the perfect projects. You can design it in any size you need it and it works out everytime. No more searching for the perfect size stamp! I doubled up the stamps in the background and cut out an extra the same size and popped it up in front. Of course I had to add some glitter and attached the tiny tags with some matching fibers. I left the little tags on the cupcake empty for now until I decide who is going to get my cutie tote!

Have a wonderful day everyone and don't forget about the Squiggle blog hop coming this Saturday..Your chance to win some fun prizes!

Hello again everyone!!!

Finally I get to craft!!! This has been quite the summer with some ups and downs, but I decided yesterday, I really need to get back to my crafting to keep me sane! It really is my happy place and I really need to get back to it more. The girls are only home one more week, so I will do my best to fit time in for all of us :)
I bring to you a new image collection from Squiggle Stamps! This stamp is raggy pony from the new GOTH KIDS collection. I love all the new Goth kids, but I had to play with this one first because my daughter is obsessed with horses! I think I am going to stick it in her lunch box for the first day of school! I love adding little fun goodies just to let them know I miss them.
My papers are just some leftover scraps. I added some ribbon and some leaves and a button. I just love these images and I know I will have lots of fun playing with them! I hope you get a chance to stop by the squiggles store to get some of you own. Also, don't forget the other simply fabulous images, digi and rubber you can pick up!

Having a bad day????

Hi everyone!!!

Can I just say ..OMG this guy is too cute! I went to the CHA super show last week and picked up this stamp at the Taylored Expressions booth! I found Taylor's stamps last year and have simply adored them ever since! I couldn't resist playing with these little sharks and cupcake first! I just wanted to use the image as the main focus so I left it as a scallop card and sponged the sky and coloured with copics. I added a few stickles to the scallops on the card and finished it off with some waves on the inside bottom of the card.

Hope you love it!!!

Happy Birtday Monsters!

Hello everyone.

We are in the middle of a heat wave here in Chicagoland! I love the heat, but a little too much right now. I am not looking forward to -0* temps so I will be happy with our 95-100* right now :)

Today I am happy to be bringing another design for the squiggle stamps team over at the Squiggles and giggles blog! These are such cutie little monsters you can't be scared of them. They are called "monster mash" and you can pick them up by clicking here. I am not exactly sure what the pattern paper is, I grabbed it from my stash. The cardstock is SU real red and some misc green and orange I had. I added the google eyes and some glitter accents to make it fun. Just a little ribbon and bling to finish it off.

I hope everyone is doing well and staying cool wherever you may be.

Don't forget to check the squiggle stamps store for lots more fun designs!

Fintastic Friends

Good evening friends! I must say..Squiggles Stamps went and made it happen! They designed a new stamp in the lilliputs collection and it's a mermaid. Now you didn't think I would pass up the opportunity to use this one right away now did you? When I saw this, I would have to say that I was in heaven..maybe even drooled a little :) It had to be on my list of stamps to use today!

My paper is from imaginisce and peach cardstock. I added some seaweed from m cricut and a few store bought embellishments. Every mermaid must have bling, so I had to add the pearls. Glittered up her fin and added some crystal effects to the bubbles. Lots of fun on this card, somehow I just kept going and going. Don't forget to head on over to the squiggles blog to check out all of the wonderful eye candy our new design team ladies come up with. Beautiful Day

Hello everyone.

It's been a while. Good old summer :)

Today I have sweet little card I made with a stampin up set touch of kindness. It's a couple stamps from the set I put together to make one scene. He actually reminds me of my big fat kitty. He is 22 pounds and his name is tigger. Our big guy is gray and not orange though. My paper is scraps from linen paper pack and I just added a few punches and bling. I hope everyone has a wonderful day! Happy crafting!

Christmas in July

Hello everyone. I hope you have been having a wonderful week. I can't believe it's been a week since I last posted. I have been enjoying the week and summer with my girls. It has finally warmed up here and we have just been really out and about...besides sleeping in a little longer than usual!
Yesterday was my day over at the squiggles blog so I am hoping they won't mind that I sneak these in a day late :) I am not sure how I missed it, but I am making up for it with two cuties!

I like to start making two Christmas cards a week starting in July as a minimum so I am not rushing to get them all finished at the end of the year. I thought I better get started since it is now July!

I used two fabulous stamps from the Squiggle stamps store. I used skating with gifts and gifts galore. I finished them off with some die cuts and punches and LOTS of glitter and bling. Can't get through the holiday season without a lot of glitter :)

I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Don't forget to stop by the squiggle blog to see what's new!

Summer fun

Hello everyone.
I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. I have had a nice day in my crafty place today. These are a few of the creation I have come up with to share. The first card and tag are from Kraftin' Kimmie stamps. Of course I had to fit some summer stuff into the day. And I actually noticed today, I make a lot of mermaids. I am not sure why I love them so much, but I just can't get enough of them. For the card, I added some extras from the sponge bob cricut cartridge and the tag has some really fun glitter paper along with some more scraps. My fairy card is made with some new graphic 45 paper I picked up at Archivers the other day. I just took some of the images and glittered them up and put it all together. It's one of those that is prettier in person.

Enjoy!

"hi"~squiggles style

Hello everyone.

My day today for the Squiggles blog. I hope you get a chance to come over and see all the fabulous projects the wonderful design team has been coming up with! Today I used and image part of the Liliputs collection. I think these are my favorite..she is so fun a whimsical! Her name is "chatty girl" and you can pick her up for yourself just by clicking here! My skunk is a fun little embellishment I picked up and thought he was just too cute. It only took me a day before I had to fit him in somewhere. I just thought he was adorable and couldn't resist. My paper is wild wasabi and baha blue from stampin up and I just cut out the tree free hand and added some grass borders with a border punch. The "hi" itself is just some thickers I added to a piece of cardstock. I hope you love it and head over to see the squiggle blog. If you are intersted for a chance to be on their design team, click here for more details. It's a lot of fun if you have time to commit to the team.

Kind thanks

Good evening bloggers!

Today I have two cards to share. The first one I used a sweet stamp from digi stamp boutique. She was one of those I just thought was too cute to pass up. You can grab one for yourself here. I figured I am always needing teacher cards so now I am ready all in hand when I need one :)

The second card is made with an old stamping up set I have called fishy friends. This is one of those sets I grab over and over so it was fun to take it out again.

My paper is peach and pear from SU and some leftover DCWV pattern paper. Finished up with a little ribbon and some bling.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful week and we are getting closer to the weekend!!!

Beach Babe

Hello everyone..

Can I just say I love this image! Sometimes I feel just like it on a summer day..though I don't have a nice beach nearby to relax with a cocktail, but I can dream :)

The image is one of Mo's digital designs and you can grab one for yourself here. My paper is that fabulous paper from Armerican crafts call hello sunshine. My cardstock is SU crumb cake. My flower is just a handmade paper flower I put together. I added some ribbon, a little crystal effects on the glass and sunglasses and just a little glitter on the polka dots.

Happy Fathers Day!

HAPPY FATHERS DAY!
Happy fathers day to all the fabulous dads out there who give every day to their kids!

I made this one with the "all in the family" set from stampin up. I had to make my hubby a long card because our family is so big, but it was lots of fun trying to fit everyone in there. Just in case you can't figure it out, left to right..Barney, Tugger, Kirsten, Kimberly, Kayla, Dad, Maddy, Me, Katarina, Kitty, Katie and Betsy.

My paper is soft suede and some extra scraps and coloured with my copics. Just added a little ribbon and not one speck of glitter! I really wanted to add it, but I thought since it was for my hubby, I would lay off the glitter today :)

Have a wonderful day everyone!!!!!

Wedding bliss!

Good morning everyone! My day at the squiggles blog with another super fabulous squiggles image!

I have to say this was was totally inspired by my own anniversary I just had last Friday. My dear hubby and I celebrated our 23rd anniversary and it really seems like yesterday. This wonderful stamp called true love couldn't be more perfect for my card. I used some scrap papers and ribbon and added a few flowers and a stick pin. The white dress is hard to see but, I used a glitter pen and shined up the whole thing! You know I can't get enough glitter :) Super simple, but I love it. The sentiment is computer generated and fit our lives perfectly!

I hope you love my card and head on over to squiggle stamps to stash up one for yourself.

If you are interested, there is a design team call over at squiggles. Just click here to find out more!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Criss cross cards

Hello everyone!

I made some more criss cross cards today. These are for my day on the Design team over at the squiggles blog! A fabulous place to come and visit every day if you have a chance!

I used the bird house stamp and reversed it for the first card. I also cropped it for the outside so I could just have the bird. Love you can do that with digital! The second card is made with sunny flower girl and happy sun. I used paper from my minds eye and added a little fun glitter to both of them. I don't know what I would do without a world with glitter :)

I hope everyone gets a chance to head on over to the squiggle stamps store and take a look around and find something fun to play with!
:)
Have a fabulous day everyone and an wonderful weekend!

I shore am grateful!

Hello everyone!

Short story for this one!

A wonderful friend of mine knew how much I loved the cool carribean paper from stampin up that is retired and was so sweet she surprised me with a pack of it today! I couldn't wait to make something fabulous with it!!!!!!!!

It certainly took a while with all of the airbrushing and cutting, but it was well worth it and I know she will love it!!!! I can't wait to give it to her and know how "grateful" I am that she thought of me :)

Special fold cards

Today was a day to just play with different things. I had lots of time to myself and thought I would make some more tedious cards today. Though in the long run, they really didn't take me as long as I figured. It was nice to make some different types today.

My first card is a criss cross card. I used a really old SU set of mine called touch of nature. I love taking out the old ones from time to time. This was one of my favorites so now that it's at the top of my pile, I am sure I will be pulling it out quite a bit for a while. Using it just reminded me how much I love it.

My other card is a scallop circle card. I was making this one and it just wouldn't come together. Somehow it just came together for me at the end. I really love how it turned out. The butterfly is just a K&Co embellishment and some ribbon from my stash. I added some pearls to finish it off.

I hope you love my "fun" cards and have a wonderful rest of the day!

Bubbles Happen

You know when you have those days when nothing seems to go right? Well, This is how I feel sometimes and you just have to go with the flow and just let it happen! I love this stamp set from our craft lounge. I used my airbrush for the water and sand, and coloured the rest with copics of course! I added some crystal effects to the bubbles and a little dazzling diamonds glitter and stickles for sparkle :) I Kept the layout pretty simple and just added a few little touches and extras to make it pop a little.
Hope you love it and remember..Bubbles happen!
