Just sittin here thinking of you

Just sittin here thinking of you. I always love my mermaids! I made this card for the all that scraps challenge blog here but as it came together, I know the perfect person to give the card to. I know she has been down in the dumps lately and I hope it will cheer her up. The challenge this week was a sketch and as you know, I just love sketches. It is so much easier to put a card together for me when someone else figures out the layout! I hope you like it, Enjoy.

Super Saturday Sketch # 22

This weeks card is another long card. Measures 9 3/4 x 4 inches and fits in a # 10 envie. I really like different sizes just to mix things up a bit. I rounded the corners on the bottom to give it some dimension. The fish and fishbowl is a stamp from stampendous and I added some rocks and seaweed just to make it more fun. I added the sign with raffia and a button just to make it a little extra touch.

Simple Hello

It has been almost a week since I have been able to get to all of my crafty toys. It has been crazy around here with graduations and end of school events. I am happy to squeeze a little project in today. I used an image I had printed in my stash from Mo's digital pencil. She is so sweet her name is Alice in Pencil and you can get her at Mo's Shop here. I hope you like it, I had a great time getting back to reality. Now I have to stop playing and finish all those teacher gifts!

Try it Tuesday..Note Card Holder

This one was a lot of fun and super easy. Over at ISC one of our crafter friends posted a great tutorial on how to make this fabulous note card holder. Click here to try it. For mine, I used one of my fun paperstacks called songbird. I used one of the sheets and cut all the birds out with a circle punch. Then I just coordinated all my colors together. I added the word smile to my envies just to make them a little more exciting! I also had to add stickles..I am not sure if I can do a project without stickles. I think next time I might add a little to the inside just to make it fun.
I think I might be making a couple these for end of year teacher gifts. It's almost the end of school and I haven't even given it much thought yet. I hope you get a chance to try it.

Paper: SU white, Guava, river rick, soft sky, blue bayou

Warm Wishes

Todays card is inspired by 2 cute rubber stamps. They were generous enough to feature me on their blog this week with my "Somebunny Loves You" card so I wanted to make something using their designs. I love this fun polar bear with his friend eating ice cream. All my papers are from my scrap pile..I am trying to use them a lot this week! Its hard to see but I used some crystal effects on the droplets of ice cream and some stickles on the scarf and the cherries. I also added some black souffle pen to my penguin.
Enjoy and check out 2 cute rubber stamps if you get a chance..they have some fun designs, both digital and rubber!
