Catching Snowflakes

Hi everyone. Today I am happy enough to bring you two projects! My second creation is this darling little girl catching snowflakes on her tongue is from Karen's doodles. The stamps names are "first taste of snow" and "snowy tree" and you can get them here at Karen's Doodle's Store. I have cut everything and layered them in the freshly fallen snow. The pattern paper is some leftover scraps.
This card is also being entered in the Karen's Doodle Challenge this week. It was for combining stamps and I thought these two pit perfectly together! There are many great stamps in the store and if you want to try the challenges, come visit the challenge blog here! Thanks for looking. I am having a blast creating winter scenes!
Have a great day everyone.

Super Saturday Sketch #48

Happy Saturday everyone! Welcome to another super Saturday sketch. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoyed some good food, family and friends. As for me, It was nice and peaceful and had a great time enjoying all the black Friday deals!
For my sketch this week, I have another long card for you today. Finished size is 8.5 x 3.75. I like this sketch because I can use some of my smaller stamps and still have a large card with it. The stamp set used is "so very" by stampin up and my papers are from a Christmas paper stack I have. I honestly cannot tell you which one because the cover is missing...Ooops! If you get a chance to try the sketch, I would love to see it. Just post a link in the comment section.
Have a great weekend everyone!

Jingle all the way!

Happy Wednesday everyone. Have we found the Christmas spirit yet? My cute little girl from Pink Cat Studio has. She is all decked out in her Christmas costume ready for some holiday magic. My card follows this weeks sketch over at ISC and it's full of layers and circles...sounds fun to me! I used some old SU DP and the cardstock is sage and bashful blue. I sure miss sage, I wish they didn't take so many colors away last time :( My stash is getting pretty thin on some of the old colors..so I may have to start hoarding some of it!
Wishing everyone a Happy Happy Turkey Day and enjoy everything you are thankful for in your life! I know I am thankful for all of my family and friends and wish everyone a wonderful day!

Ice Princess

Good morning Friends!
I hope everyone is getting into the Christmas spirit. With all of the lights up and the decorations in the stores, it's really hard not to! My card this morning comes to life from my cricut. I used the winter woodland cartridge and made this fun ice princess having a blast skating the day away. I made some bookmarks for a swap with this design and I was thrilled I had enough supplies left to make a card. DCWV Christmas stack was used for the pattern paper and SU's marina mist for the base. I added silver glitter for the skates and sparkly fluff on all the fur of my skaters coat.
Finished card size is 8 1/2 x 3 3/4
Have a great day everyone!

I used SU set loads of love..One of my favorites and coloured everything with inks. Enjoy and happy crafting!

Super Saturday Sketch # 46

Happy weekend everyone. Sorry I didn't get this posted yesterday but the day just somehow got away from me..I am sure everyone can relate :)

I have a fun sketch for you today. My main image is really the focal point of this card and not all of the layers with it. I love how all the layers stand out on their own but don't take anything from the actual image itself.

I am not sure if it shows up well, but the card is filled with lots of glitz. I used Martha Stewart's tinsel glitter for the snow and added Dazzling diamonds to all of the fluffy parts of their coats. Super Sparkly fun :)

As for my image..It's a wonderful image from Karen's Doodles called "first snowfall". If you love it..You can click here to get it yourself. I am also entering this card in the Karen's Doodles Diva contest this period. You can win free images just by submitting your card. If you are interested in trying it out, click here and you can get directly to the doodle diva blog. Karen's doodles is full of fun designs..I hope you take the time to look at them.
As always..If you get a chance to use my sketch, I would love to see your card..Just leave me a link!

Happy Holidays!

Good morning everyone. I have another holiday card to share with you today. I decided to switch it up again today with a long card. 8 1/2 X 33 3/4 is the finished size. I used another image from Pink cat studios digi stamps. It's called simply "Betty and snowman decorating tree". You can take a peek and grab it here if you would love to have it yourself. I actually took advantage when I purchased it to buy the whole set at a discounted amount. They have great value packs and it's like getting stamps for free. If you think you will use the whole set, I would take advantage of it. It's hard to see but I have added some dazzling diamonds to the snowman and tinsel on the bottom for snow. Enjoy and I hope you are getting inspired to make a few holiday cards of your own.

Baby Day!

I spent the whole day yesterday working on a baby card and Album for my daughter to give as a gift to a new mom to be. I wish I would have photographed it out of the sleeves, but with that said, I think the photos still look pretty good. It does look way better in person though. Now off to make some more goodies for myself :)
Have a great day everyone.

Super Saturday Sketch #45

Hello everyone. Welcome back for this weeks addition to the Super Saturday Sketch. This one is a little more complicated with lots of layers, but super fun to make. I used lots of different shape and sizes and really filled up my card this week. I used the same turkey from pink cat studio I used for my ATC earlier. He's much bigger of course. That is the fun of digital stamps..You get to make them any size you wish :) My papers are from SU songbird stack and a 6x6 SU stack I have in my stash. If you just love the image, Pick it up here at the pink cat digi store. Check out all the other fun stamps they have while you are there. I just love them!
As always, if you get a chance to try my sketch..make sure you leave me a link so I can see.
Have a great weekend everyone!

Singing and Thanks

Just a few goodies to show today. I have been very busy creating lots of challenges this morning. It feels so good to finally get back to action on these.
My first card is For the Karen's Doodles Challenge. Simply named give thanks, I thought this image was perfect. The image is Indian corn and you can pick it up here in Karen's doodles online store. If you want to try any of the challenges, head on over to the challenge blog and give it a try. Click here for more.

Misc:Dazzling diamonds and stickles
My next card is for the ISC challenge this week. We needed to use felt somewhere on the card and well, I have this fun sparkly felt I found one day and love it for snow. This stamp from Stampin Up is one of my all time favorite Christmas stamps. It's called merry minstrels and I just love everything about it. There are some other pieces in it that you can layer and I am sure I will add some of those in the next few weeks. The tree is cut from my cricut winter woodlands cartridge and I have added snow with Martha Stewart's white tinsel and a few extra dazzling diamonds glitter on their coats. The background is run through my cuttlebug with my snowflakes folder and sanded down to bring out the white. Enjoy!
Copics used: YG93, R83,27,20,85 Y17 B24 YR02 E59,57,55,00,11
My last project is another ATC..I am still thinking I am not so good at these, but I am trying. Since I have only made a few I am still in the learning stage. I used a darling stamp from Pink Cat Studio called Itty Bitty Bobby turkey ride. I added just a few embellishment leaves and a rub on. I just need a little more practice filling in these tiny spaces I think..I am not going to give up.
