Super Saturday Sketch #68

Happy Saturday everyone!
I hope everyone is having a nice weekend so far. We finally had weather in the 70's today. Dreary and windy, but I will take 70 over 30 any day of the week!
Today's sketch is using another image from Di's Digi downloads. She is called magic wish and you can get her here! When I bought her, I thought she would be perfect for many occasions. I added a few scrolls, bling, stickles and primas to finish it off. I hope you like my sketch this week and give it a try.

Hey bloggers!

I so badly needed to make another beachy card today. It's just been one of those weeks and somehow when I make these cards it's almost like I can imagine me being at the beach and it really makes me feel better.

I can honestly tell you I had a lot of fun with this one. I just kept adding and adding to it. Every time I would think I was just about finished, I figured out something else I wanted to add.

It's a little hard to see but it's filled with lots of glitter and all the water has crystal effects on it to give it a shiny feel. My seashell and starfish are some cute new embellishments from jolies. I love them, but they are a little pricey so I will need to use them sparingly. I though she was perfect for my collection and of course she is mine for keeps now :)

Hello everyone.

I was able to play in my happy place today and really had a good time with this one! I think the girl is a little big for the contrasting tree in the background, but personally, I wanted to add a little spring or summer today. It is so cold and icky and just needed a fun sunny day! Love this paper. I am just about out of it. I have one more little square left. I think I may have to grab another one next time I hit the scrapbook store :)

I just added a hand cut tree and some punched out grass..a little bling to brighten it up and finished..A great spring surprise! Now maybe a little spring will come to us too!

Hello everyone! Long time no craft!

It's spring break here at the Pielmeier house, so between day trips and long weekends in the city, there hasn't been much time for crafting. Today was going to be that day, but somehow it turned into another day that just ran out of time.

I do have a couple of cards I was able to finish today.

The first one is a cutie pie stamp by Di's Digi Downloads. I actually kept the card pretty simple by adding some pretty papers and some photo corners. Just a touch of bling but not too much :) I know..not too much? That is odd for me!

My second card today is my Design Team card over at squiggle stamps blog! I posted another project using this stamp just a few weeks ago, but It's too darn cute not to play with it again. I actually went of of my usual colour category and tried to make it just a little different!
