Halloween fun!

Good morning blogger friends!
Today im sharing a little goodie I made for a swap partner. I have a joy-fold card with a paper bag pocket and a yummy candy bar in a hand made box. I wish I had a pic of the pocket stuffed with all it's goodies but I have sent it off already.
All the supplies are from my K&Co stash. I've been using these for a few years now and I'm just about out of my embellishments...I'm thinking I will have to see what's left of the current line during the after season sales...if I can find any, seems like everyone has moved onto Christmas already!
Have a wonderful day everyone!!!!

Halloween Box in a Bag

Hi everyone!
I did some late night crafting after everyone was in bed and made a few fun goodies. Included in my fun was this box in a bag all ready for halloween. I'm actually most excited because I got this paper on sale yesterday for .20 cents and the little witch was from my halloween stash. I love when I can make goodies that are so cute and budget friendly!
Now to figure out what to fill it with and who to give it too :)
Have a wonderful day everyone!

Googly Ghouls

Hello Crafty Friends
Halloween is coming and I finally pulled out some halloween goodies! I had lots of fun designing this card using punches, glitter and googly eyes.
My paper is Stampin' Up Limeade and Wisteria. My stamps are Googly Ghouls and Web Wishes..Both Stampin' Up sets. The side is punched with a fiskars grass punch and just a bit of washi tape for a pop of color.
Thanks for stopping by <3 nbsp="">

Happy Halloween!

Hi everyone!!!!

I know I keep saying this, but I am going to get back into the groove soon! This is just crazy..I don't know how time flys by each week, but I really need to get into gear and get back to what I love. Life has really slowed down this week with our German students leaving, so I think its a good time to get back into gear! Plus I decided to make "me" time part of my day again!

Now..may I say...I love the new halloween images at Squiggle stamps! I am having too much fun with all of them!!! This not so scary guy is name simply "vampire boy" and of course you can find him here in the squiggle stamps shop!

I am so proud of myself, my papers are some more scraps I had around. I am trying so hard to make use of all of them. With the purple and green color combo, I just love the way the two fit in with halloween colours! My sentiment is just a sticker I had and I added a few embellishment bats and a little bling to make it extra spooky. Its hard to see, but I even added some crystal effects to the cape so it looks shiny and glossy.

Don't forget about the Squiggles Challenge that ends on the 30th. The theme is autumn and you can get all the details here. Your chance to get some free goodies!!! We all love free goodies!

I LOVE candy

Hello everyone..

So sorry it's been a while, I have been under the weather and finally getting back on my toes again. Also, we have also had a couple of exchange students from Germany with us since last week, so life as we know it has not been quite the same.

I had so much fun on the blog hop and I hope everyone followed each blog and had a good time and maybe even won a goodie or two along the way! I wanted to keep going with the fun new Halloween images Squiggle Stamps has released. This little lady is called "Mummy Ghoul" and I had so much fun making her sparkle and shine with some stardust glitter and a little bit of shading. My paper and embellishments are from my ever growing stack of scraps. They are from a K&Co collection and I thought they all fit perfect together. With this little girl holding her hands open wide, I thought it was perfect for holding the I love candy embellishment. I just added a little wire and finished.

I hope everyone has a wonderful week and I hope you get a chance to play with all of the new fun images in the squiggle store!

Touched up the bones with a little glitter and a little black gel pen for the eyes.

Halloween Greeting

Good morning everyone. Today's creation is brought to you with my other Halloween image from Pink Cat Studio designs. Isn't she just too adorable! Her name is "Betty standing on broom" and you can get her here in the pink cat studio's online store. I just love these designs and I know you will too. She is sooo much fun to color too. Betty's smile just is so sweet, who could be afraid of a witch when you smile like that! The poor kitty better hold on though. He looks like he is just about to fall off!
Of course I had to add lots of bling to this one. My gems, dazzling diamonds on the broom and wand and my black dots are just a souffle pen. Enjoy everyone..and have a fabulous day!

Super Saturday Sketch #42

Okay...I have to tell you first..I found a fabulous new digi stamp company (new for me anyway) ..I was looking around and boy what a find for me..The most darling stamps. The company is pink cat studio..You can check them out here and see all of the darling images they carry. I haven't looked through them all yet, but I can see a few more coming my way..I saw a few holiday ones I want right away!
As for my sketch..I wanted to play off of circles today. I thought they would be fun with the roundness of the brewing pot. I wanted to make my sample with not too much added, but I am going to do another with a little more bling to liven it up. I just wanted to show a simple sample for everyone who is at any level. I hope you enjoy the sketch this week and have another fabulous weekend.

Happy Halloween

Same stamp way different outcome. I was able to sit and play for quite some time today and had a wonderful time doing it. I used my darling Halloween Emma stamp from CC Designs to make this fab Halloween card. I used an accesories set to fill in the background with some simple making techniques and airbrushed the nighttime sky. I love making scene cards when I can focus the entire card on the images alone and not worry about the layout of the card as much. I think there are so many gorgeous stamps out there and they really need the focus. It cetainly felt good to actually enjoy a little crafting time in another busy week. I really have to put my life back on a normal schedule and all will work out great. Enjoy!

Super Saturday Sketch #38

Welcome to another Super Saturday Sketch everyone. This week is another Halloween card with not too many layers. Its a nice simple layout to follow. I wanted to make something I could use up some scraps and this is what came about of it. I love that it is simple enough if you need to make a lot of cards at a time you can add a little extra pizazz to it with just a few touches. I think some of my holiday cards this year might just be made using this sketch. Have a great weekend everyone, I hope you get a chance to try my sketch.

Karen's doodle day :)

I have to say, I think I have to name today Karen's doodle day. First I had the bookmark..Which has now been swiped by my oldest daughter, and now I have these two cards I did today also.
The Halloween one is for a facebook challenge card. Yes, I now have facebook. I was trying to stay away as long as I could, then all of a sudden, this fabulous image was just in my reach..You were able to get the image only if you agreed to play along in the challenge..Which I was happy to oblige :)
I am actually proud of the way the colouring turned out. I am not really so good at blacks, I either need more practice or I just need more. I only have a few black copics in each catagory. Maybe for Christmas I can put more I my list :)
I used the free image, and some K&Co scraps I had from last year. The spider is also from leftover K&Co stash. I tied him up with some black wire to give a webby kind of feel to add just a little extra touch. Copics I used were..FY1, YR15 T3,5,7 Y26,28

My happy fun school bus I couldn't resist when I saw this in Karen's Store. I didn't even think before I added it to my cart..I just knew!!! Thank you Karen for enabling me and my addiction. The paper is from a Debbie Mum paper stack. I love the colors. It's so lively getting ready for the school day! My apples and pencils are just some stickers I put on white scraps and cut around the outer edge. I added just a few little bling and ta-da..all finished. I think I might make some little cards for the teachers for Christmas with this one. Or a note pad. Since it's digital, it can be any size you wish.
Copics I used for him are:E34,35,37 R32,34,20 Y32,35,38 W1,3,5 YR16 YG25 B24 V15
If you would love one of your own, click here and head on over to Karen's doodles and grab one!!

Double pocket card

Happy Halloween..Yup it's early..I just thought it would be a fun change to pull out the fall stamps today. Over at All that scraps they had a double pocket card challenge this week. I have made many of these in the past but haven't made one for a while so it was nice to do an old favorite for a change. I used witch Emma for my card.
