Halloween fun!

Good morning blogger friends!
Today im sharing a little goodie I made for a swap partner. I have a joy-fold card with a paper bag pocket and a yummy candy bar in a hand made box. I wish I had a pic of the pocket stuffed with all it's goodies but I have sent it off already.
All the supplies are from my K&Co stash. I've been using these for a few years now and I'm just about out of my embellishments...I'm thinking I will have to see what's left of the current line during the after season sales...if I can find any, seems like everyone has moved onto Christmas already!
Have a wonderful day everyone!!!!

More Christmas

Happy Weekend!
I just had a couple more goodies I wanted to share. The Santa one is similar to a card I saw in the Stampin Up magazine but I put my own twist on it, and the other is just a quick card with some Taylored Expressions stamps. I didn't really have time to do any shading with my coloring so hopefully whoever gets it knows I still put some love into it!
Have a wonderful day everyone!

Wish

Hello Blogger Friends!
A little more Christmas magic to share today!
This is one of my new stamps from the Stampin Up Holiday Mini titled Special Season. Its such a pretty set and I plan to use it lots this holiday season. Today I used some SU designer paper, gray cardstock and you can't tell from the pick, but the tree has been stamped in gray and embossed glitter on top of it. Its one of those you just have to see in person to get the real feel of the sparkle and shine :)
Thanks for looking everyone and have a wonderful day!

Christmas Wishes

Happy Thursday everyone!
I have been adding to my Christmas card pile and loving every minute of it. It is only October and my pile is stacking up nice and high! For once I may not be rushing around at the last minute to get them all finished.
These were put together with a little thought on mailing. So many times my cards are so thick, it is a chore to make sure they are padded enough to make it in one complete piece. I love being able to make them pop, but as with the snowman..The simplicity of this one is what I like best when I finished!
Hopefully I have inspired you with some ideas or even to get working on some cards of your own if you haven't yet!
Have a wonderful day and thanks as always for lQQking

Ruff Day

"Ruff Day" anyone?
I would have to say for me..YES..when I was making this card, I made the mistake of having no idea what paper I was going to use before I picked the stamp and colored it! I searched for about 45 minutes to find the perfect paper. I knew I had a new stack of paper from the scrapbook expo and couldn't figure out where I put it! Thankfully my brain clicked into overdrive and I remembered, found it and finished it up in a flash. Just a few layers and buttons to finish it off.
Paper is from Queen and Co and stamp is from Taylored Expressions. Colored with copics and Stampin up cardstock.
Thanks for stopping by!

Halloween Box in a Bag

Hi everyone!
I did some late night crafting after everyone was in bed and made a few fun goodies. Included in my fun was this box in a bag all ready for halloween. I'm actually most excited because I got this paper on sale yesterday for .20 cents and the little witch was from my halloween stash. I love when I can make goodies that are so cute and budget friendly!
Now to figure out what to fill it with and who to give it too :)
Have a wonderful day everyone!

Hello Happy Blogger Friends!
I made a little fall magic for everyone today. It seems it should be here by now, but luckily we have been enjoying wonderful 70* weather all week. Im not complaining though I would love for mother nature to make up her mind. Sweaters or short sleaves..Not sure what to leave out!
I used a CC Designs stamp for this card and one of my older 6x6 pads from imaginisce "apple cider". Its hard to see but I added a bit of glossy accents to the apples to make them shine..and no gliter on this one..Even I am impressed. Finished off with a few buttons, a bow and some tags. I can't wait to get this one in the mail and brighten someones fall day!
Have a wonderful day everyone, Thanks for looking!

Seasons Greetings

Happy Hump Day Friends!
I'm getting into the Christmas spirit today!
I have been really excited to use this new paper I got from my last vacation in Myrtle beach. I fussy cut around some of the photos and added some glitter for the snow and glossy accents for the windows. Finished with some bling and ribbon and a seasons greetings sentiment.
Paper is a Bo Bunny collection and Old olive from Stampin' Up.
Hoping you like it and hopefully I can bring you some more holiday creations soon!

Beauty is God's Handwriting

Hi Again!
How are all of my blogger friends doing today. Its been quite a fun few days here playing with my grandbabies and actually still having some time to myself. I have been doing a good job at making sure I still have my "me" time. I have just been learning to say no a lot more..Its been hard, but it has been worth it for my sanity :)
This card features a few stamp sets. The jar is from "all wrapped up" the sentiment from "God's beauty" and the flowers are from "oh so lovely" The butterfly is a stampin up butterfly punch that I used in both a sponged orange and the raspberry and popped up the wings. The jar is stamped on vellum with gold embossing powder, fussy cut and twine wrapped around the top and added a tag. Its hard to see but the flowers have a touch of glittle and crystal effects. Finishishing touches were added to the background with a little dot stamp.
This one is a little different colors for me, but I hope everyone enjoys it!

Post Card

Well hello blog friends!
It has been a very long time since I've shared my creations. I must say it felt so good to sit down and just enjoy coloring and stamping and just using my imagination. I have missed posting and just sharing my craft with everyone to see. Hopefully everyone has missed me along the way too! I have been creating here and there, but not as much as I want to..or should I say NEED to. I think its what keeps me sane on a daily basis with all of the craziness of day to day life. Somehow I just needed to jump back in the water and know that I could make a difference and get back to being "me" again.

As for my stamps today, I used a couple different Stampin Up sets. Postcard, Postage Due and one of my favorites from my collection..Butterfly of Happiness. I used watercolor paper and an array of Tim Holtz distress inks to get the colored background. I am hoping you like my creation and thanks so much for stopping by to take a LQQK!
