Criss cross cards

Hello everyone!

I made some more criss cross cards today. These are for my day on the Design team over at the squiggles blog! A fabulous place to come and visit every day if you have a chance!

I used the bird house stamp and reversed it for the first card. I also cropped it for the outside so I could just have the bird. Love you can do that with digital! The second card is made with sunny flower girl and happy sun. I used paper from my minds eye and added a little fun glitter to both of them. I don't know what I would do without a world with glitter :)

I hope everyone gets a chance to head on over to the squiggle stamps store and take a look around and find something fun to play with!
:)
Have a fabulous day everyone and an wonderful weekend!

I shore am grateful!

Hello everyone!

Short story for this one!

A wonderful friend of mine knew how much I loved the cool carribean paper from stampin up that is retired and was so sweet she surprised me with a pack of it today! I couldn't wait to make something fabulous with it!!!!!!!!

It certainly took a while with all of the airbrushing and cutting, but it was well worth it and I know she will love it!!!! I can't wait to give it to her and know how "grateful" I am that she thought of me :)

Squiggles..Thanks a bunch

Good morning everyone!
I hope you are enjoying your day so far!

Today is my day for the squiggles design team. I am using one of the cutest stamps I grab all the time! It's called "picked for you" and you can pick it up for yourself in the squiggle stamps store!

I used some tempting turquoise cardstock from stampin up and my pattern paper is from Bo Bunny..a 6x6 pad from the ad lib collection. The sentiment is computer generated and colored in with all of the colors I used in the main image and mounted it on tangerine paper.

Enjoy everyone and come by and give some love to the squiggles blog to see all of the fabulous work the design team has put up!

Special fold cards

Today was a day to just play with different things. I had lots of time to myself and thought I would make some more tedious cards today. Though in the long run, they really didn't take me as long as I figured. It was nice to make some different types today.

My first card is a criss cross card. I used a really old SU set of mine called touch of nature. I love taking out the old ones from time to time. This was one of my favorites so now that it's at the top of my pile, I am sure I will be pulling it out quite a bit for a while. Using it just reminded me how much I love it.

My other card is a scallop circle card. I was making this one and it just wouldn't come together. Somehow it just came together for me at the end. I really love how it turned out. The butterfly is just a K&Co embellishment and some ribbon from my stash. I added some pearls to finish it off.

I hope you love my "fun" cards and have a wonderful rest of the day!

Bubbles Happen

You know when you have those days when nothing seems to go right? Well, This is how I feel sometimes and you just have to go with the flow and just let it happen! I love this stamp set from our craft lounge. I used my airbrush for the water and sand, and coloured the rest with copics of course! I added some crystal effects to the bubbles and a little dazzling diamonds glitter and stickles for sparkle :) I Kept the layout pretty simple and just added a few little touches and extras to make it pop a little.
Hope you love it and remember..Bubbles happen!

Pop up birthday and Thanks

Good afternoon everyone! Just wanted to share a few cards I made today. This was my first try at a pop up card. I used my owl punch and my woodgrain embossing folder. The layout of using the owls was part of the directions I followed. The rest was all free hand cutting and using up some scraps. I figured it fit the theme :)

My other card is just a fun card with SU picnic parade. I hadn't even inked this one up yet, so that was fun to try it out. Just something simple today..Thanks for looking!

Super Saturday Sketch #69

Hi everyone..

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend thus far! I had a wonderful time crafting again today. I was in the mood for a mermaid today..The hardest part was choosing which one it should be! I used one of my Kraftin Kimmie stamps today. I love them, but just haven't been able to boost my inventory. I think if I could get one at a time would be great, but I can never choose! They are all too darn cute :)

For my paper I used a 6x6 paper pack from my minds eye called Stella Rose. Cut more seaweed with my cricut and used some of my Jolies embellishments. The cardstock is from stampin up, peach and night of navy. I just added a little sparkle to all the fins for fun. I even tried some red hair today..That was pretty new for me. It needs some work, but I like it!

I hope you love it..Enjoy your weekend everyone!
