Chill Out

A friend of mine was kind enough to surprise me with this adorable Lucas stamp from Kraftin Kimmie stamps. It was fun to do a little paper piecing..I haven't dont that in a while :)

Merry Christmas My Deer Friend

I really love this oldie but goodie from Taylored Expressions stamps. Finding the time to finally sit down and create a more in depth card was priceless..Now to just decide who the lucky friend to receive it will be the more challenging task :)

Flakes and Thanks

Happy Thursday everyone!
I just wanted to share a couple of quickies I have made the past few days. Crafting during naptime is quite challenging, but I am happy to say, I am squeezing that time in no matter what it takes :)
Enjoy!

Bugs and Kisses

Good morning everyone...
I have just a sweet little card to share with an image from Tiddly Inks called bugs and kisses. I picked this one up a while back and it's been sitting on my craft desk just waiting for me. I decided today was the special day it was going to make it to it's final destination.
I kept it pretty simple, not really my intention, but after I added the ribbon, it just looked complete to me. I guess certain cards just need to stay that way in my mind :)
Enjoy and have a wonderful day!

Stamps: TIddly Inks "Bugs and Kisses

Give Thanks

Hello everyone!
Well, I must say it doesn't really feel much like fall outside today since it's going to be a rare 80* later this afternoon but I found these adorable embellishments at the store the other day and couldn't wait to dig in. I loved the look on this little girls face and she couldn't be more ready to give thank! I used just a regular 6x6 fall pack by imaginisce and some extra bling of course :)
Enjoy your afternoon and any beautiful weather you have left where you are..unless it's nice and warm where you are, you make me jealous!!!

Embrace 3x3 mini album

Hi again everyone!
I finished another project tonight!
My friend Jacque shared a tutorial on these cute 3x3 mini albums she made and I figured I just had to try it! It looked pretty easy, and yes it was, but somehow these quick projects somehow take me more time to think and gather supplies so it takes me just a little longer than planned!
I used some old TAC paper for this one, looked like a perfect fit! I think I may take another stab at this one but get it straight in my head first :)
Have a wonderful day everyone..I am watching my sweet grandbabies tomorrow, so hopefully I can squeeze in a little crafty time too!

Here is the tutorial I used

Climb a Tree

Monday has been quite productive for me today! With both mommies having their babies, I have had quite a bit of time to just explore all of the treasures calling my name :)
I used one of Taylored expressions stamps "up a tree" and some cosmo cricket paper. I love the sentiment stamp too! I also added a little embossing to the tree to give it a little extra pop. I think everyone should be inpressed..not one touch of glitter added..that was really hard for me, but I did it!!!!
Have a great rest of the day..I am going to go find something else fun to make <3>

Paper journal

Happy Monday everyone!
I have had a lot of fun this weekend trying to get into my craft mode! I found this great tutorial a couple months ago and have been wanting to try it. I finally sat down and finished a few projects. One is the super fun journal made from 3 sheets of 12x12 papers. I loved the beautiful print on this Bo Bunny paper and knew it would be the perfect paper to use for the journal! Best of all, it's a project you can sit down and finish in one sitting :)
Here is the tutorial I used..I hope you get a chance to try!

Create a scene and sad goodbye

Hello everyone,
I hope everyone is doing well. Over at the Squiggles headquarters we are showing off some of our final submissions as design team members there. I have been saddened that with many hard decisions in life, my dear friend must close her doors to her squiggle stamps site. Not only has it been a privalage to design with her stamps, but to get to know her and the whole team this year has been a blessing in my life. Many things come along in life and we have to make changes and I with her the very best with her new adventures. My heart will always be with you!
You can still stop by the store and grab a few items before time runs out.

Thanks

Well, being a new month, I have decided I must take better care of my blog. It's one of those things that have grown dear to my heart and I love sharing all of my work with everyone. I have actually been working on a lot of projects, but somehow they just haven't made it over, I am going to change that and make sure I share with everyone once again.
Today's little goodie to share is a digi stamp from the paper shelter. I only have a few of them...so far, but aren't they just darling? At first I thought it was missing a bit of something and I couldn't figure it out, but it really is growing on my now and I really love it, I hope you do too!!!

Hello blog friends!
It's another fun week at the squiggles blog with a brand new challenge! Red, white and blue for this period. I had a lot of fun making this card adding layers and masking and punching! I don't even think I used any glitter on this card..that has to be some kind of an award right there!
My darling image I chose to use is Daisy with ballon, part of the Oscar and Daisy collection. You can grab one for yourself by hearding over to the squiggle store where you will always find some fun and unique stamps.
For all of those friends interested in joining a design team, Squiggles is looking for a few more dedicated friends to join the team. Click here and find out all of the info. I hope you will think about joining!

Squiggles Challenge- Mask-uline

Hi everyone, I hope all is doing well today.
It's challenge time over at the squiggles headquarters again! This time we are using the "mask-uline" theme..how fun is that..masking a design with a masculine look to your card. My card today is using "pirate boy" and I love him of coarse! I printed two images, cut out 1 of them and placed it on top with some removable tape. After I brushed the sky, sea and sand. When you remove the image, you are left with a clear image to color as you wish and your background is all finished. I love this technique!
Click on the link to grab one of these darling images or any other fun designs for yourself. Head on over to the Squiggles and giggles blog to find some more inspiration with masking and your chance to play in the challenge!

Too much of a good thing

Good morning!
It's so much fun to do different techniques! Stamp resist is one of those fun ways to make the perfect background for any card or project. I used stampin up stamp set "time well spent". I stamped the background with versamark on glossy paper and used my inks to fill in the white. Just added some simple layering and a sweet matching butterfly.
Hope you get a chance to try a different technique yourself!

Babies and Birthdays

A few more projects I wanted to share from National Scrapbook Day. Just some fun little things..Thanks for looking!

Classy and Fabulous

I must just start off by saying..isn't thins the cutest stamp ever!!!! It is one of my favorites in my collection and I always am excited to pull it out. Love house mouse and they always make me happy just thinking about them because they are always doing some cute "stuff". I paired it with a Bella stamp sentiment..also one of my favorites. With all these girls, they may not always act classy, but fabulous for sure! My paper is from a 6x6 paper stack from My minds eye and just finished off a few layers with some brads. A nice simple layout, but lots of pop as always.
Enjoy!!

Friends

Friends..Gotta love them! Another fun card from my happy crafting day!!!
Lots of cutting and layering here. I used my stampin up set "timewell spent"
Enjoy!

Follow your heart

Hello everyone!
I hope everyone's week is treating them well! I can't believe it is almost the weekend! I am looking forward to it for a little relax time. This week has been extremely full for me and I am just looking for a little extra time..if that really exists!
My card is a card I made on national scrapbook day for my friends at craft therapy on facebook. We needed to make a card using a magnolia stamp. Now since I only own two of then, it was an easy choice since the other is a Christmas stamp. I used one of my SUPER OLD mat stacks for the paper and just added a few little extras. Not my normal color scheme, but I really like how it turned out anyway.
Thanks as always for visiting!

Happy Birthday Squiggle Jessabelle

Happy Wednesday Friends!
I have exciting news for everyone! Squiggle stamps is now on Facebook!!!! I hope you come out and "like" thier page..It's just getting started, but I am sure it will be no time at all before you will see lots of fun projects, challenges and just plain fun!
My card today is made with one of the new Jessabelles stamps "hearts" This is a fun new line which I love for all those older girl cards that the cute stuff just doesn't work for! I also love these for scrapbook pages too! Being a digital stamp, you can make it any size you want and it just makes your dollar just stretch!! I I layered up my card with lots of papers from My Minds Eye and added some ribbon and sparkles as always! Of course a little pop here and there with some 3d dots to give it dimention!
Hope you love it!
Have a wonderful day!

You send me soaring!

Hello everyone. Long time no share :)
I am not exactly sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing. I have been working on a few projects along the way, just haven't been able to share any. Plus my new little grandson has made his arrival into the world and has taken up plenty of time and getting use to a new little one again. I must say he has been an amazing addition to our family and just so happy to be close and squeeze him every day.

Enough said  "ME" time is getting back into the picture. The other day I spent a lot of time just crafting and getting inky and I loved it. I am surely going to make it a part of my day once again. I think it keeps me sane and it's so much fun to share.

Today's card is made with a new set from Stampin Up call "send me soaring". The tree is just cut free hand with some scraps and the trunk I ran thru a cuttlebug folder along with the grass. I had fun paper piecing the kites with some scraps and bundled them up together.  Just a few finishing touches of glitter and the card is complete. I jope you love it and I can't wait to bring you more in the next coming days!

Card Recipe:
Stamps: Stampin up, send me soaring
 Paper:  scraps
Pattern Paper:  My minds eye
Ink: Chocolate chip, regal rose, pumpkin pie

Wild About You

NEW TOYS!!!
I love when the UPS guy shows up with a box filled with goodies! Today I am sharing a fun scallop circle card I was able to throw together. Made with one of my new Stampin Up sets Zoo Review. We are always at the zoo and love it. I love the outdoors and just walking around. It seems each time we go there is something new if it's the different animals who are out or just the change of seasons.
I just added a few touches to finish this one off. A little bling and some crystal effects on the giraffe himself. The holder inside is just a grass punch bunched 3 times.
Enjoy everyone!
