Try it Tuesday time!! Rubber Band Background

Today for "Try it Tuesday" I tried the "rubber band background" technique. It was a lot of fun and it was really easy to do. Just wrap a couple rubber bands around your brayer, ink it up and brayer your plain paper. I turned the paper a different direction for each color to mix it up a bit. I left the card pretty simple so I could still see the background. I was going to take off the butterfly and add a small circle or something, but gosh those embellishments were sticky and wouldn't come back off. It's something I will definitely try again! Enjoy
Card Recipe:
Paper: SU Lavender lace and Certainly Celery
Pattern Paper: K&Co
Ink: SU celery, lavander lace and teal
Misc: K&Co butterfly and happy birthday rub on

  2. Now that's cool. I'll have to try that one. I have a brayer here that needs some attention. Thanks for reminding me of this technique. Now your card.. It's so pretty. The butterfly is darling.
