NEW TOYS!!!

I love when the UPS guy shows up with a box filled with goodies! Today I am sharing a fun scallop circle card I was able to throw together. Made with one of my new Stampin Up sets Zoo Review. We are always at the zoo and love it. I love the outdoors and just walking around. It seems each time we go there is something new if it's the different animals who are out or just the change of seasons.

I just added a few touches to finish this one off. A little bling and some crystal effects on the giraffe himself. The holder inside is just a grass punch bunched 3 times.

All Things Grow with Love

Hello everyone!

I have another challenge card to share with you today! I was playing with my brand new Tiddly Inks stamp called "Wryn-grow a little love" Isn't she cute. The challenge over at the Tiddly Inks challenge blog is celebrate. What is better than to celebrate LOVE..especially so close to Valentine's day. I am lucky enough to have many people in my life to love and it's a great thing to celebrate everyday!

I had lots of fun adding goodies to this one. I used some primas with a touch of stickles, and the butterfly is a punch from stampin up and I just cut around it to make it a bit smaller and added some accents to match my project. Hi everyone! While I spend my time blog hopping, somehow I stumbled over a brand new digi stamp company call Little Miss Muffet stamps. Well, I couldn't pass by trying them out!

Recycle Challenge

Hello everyone!!!

Today I bring you a fun project from Squiggle stamps. This time the challenge is "recycle" and the design team came up with lots of fun ways to use your recycled items in your crafting world.

My recycle project comes from an extra piece of cardboard packing material I would have normally just thrown away in the recycle bin! I made it for my oldest daughter who is getting married this year. I wanted to use the image in a different way than a wedding so I thought I would add their original anniversary of dating each other. I love making just because gifts and this is one of those times I get to.

I covered it with some pretty paper from basic grey and added some glitter, my coloured image and lots of extras! It's really hard to see but this one is full of sparkle and shine..just the way I like it! The image is called "true love" and you can pick it up in the squiggle stamps store. There are lots of fun images to choose from if you want to try out the challenge yourself! While I was blog hopping today I found a great site with some fun sketches. Best of all they have a challenge too! Who doesn't love a great challenge and sketch to get you motivated!

This was an interesting sketch when I started and I wasn't sure I could really do it justice, but by the time it was finished and glued together, I really loved how it all fit together!

The sponser this week is Bugaboo stamps so I decided to use my new "freebie" I picked up this week from the online store. I added the best wishes myself with a rub on. The board comes blank so you can add whatever you would like! I printed a second image in the same size so I could pop up his head. I added a little smooch to the outside of the frame to give a little sparkle.

Happy Winter

I finally have a chance to enter a challenge! I haven't enetered one in so long and it feels good to be able to participate again.

This happy winter card is for the Karen's Doodles challenge "Spots and Stripes" I love this winter paper and it's perfect because it's full of spots and stripes :)

My stamp is "first taste of snow" and you can get it at the Karen's Doodles online store. I printed, coloured and cut the image out and left the mittens popped up a little. I've added lots of glitter and tinsel and finished it off with some wintery embelishments. Another fun card to share with you today! This one is if a stamp called "hello cupcake" from My Favorite Things. Isn't she just darling. I totally agree with her about eating the icing first! Sometimes when we go out to eat, I will order dessert first because I never have room to enjoy it otherwise. This way, I can take my leftovers home and enjoy my dessert!!!

My paper is just some old scraps from K&Co. I added a few gems and some magic on my cupcake. Lots of fun but it's making me hungry for cupcakes!

A honey of a day

Good morning everyone!!!

The kids are all back off to school after a wonderful holiday break and I must say, I miss them already, but I am HAPPY to have some "me" time again. I really have missed just sitting down and creating.

My card today is one of my older stamps from stampin up called "just buzzin by" and I must say..I love these cutie pie bee's. I use a 6x6 paper pack from my mind's eye "stella rose" and my copic markers to colour the hive and bees. My bees of course are cut and popped up and finished it all off with a little dazzling diamonds glitter and some smooch irridescent. The inside just finished off with another un-popped bee. I hope you love it..and back to playtime for me!

Hi everyone..It's time for another squiggle challenge at the squiggle blog! The theme for the next few weeks is Celebrate. I had a fun time with this cutie celebrating life. For me, I hold it very close to my heart these days with so much going on around me. I have to say life is worth celebrating..the good and the bad.

Squiggle Sweet Sketch

Wow everyone! I can say it's been quite a long time since I have been able to post. Either life just got in the way and there were things I needed to put first or just making gifts that I can't post because I can't give them away of course!

Today I am sharing the new squiggle challenge sketch I did. I really went out of my comfort zone on colors this time and I really like how it turned out. I thought I would just try a little something new. I guess new isn't such a bad thing..I will have to take my scraps and make a little more and see what I can come up with!

Monogram gift set

Winter gift set

Hello again everyone!

I just love making special everyday gifts for friends and this one is going to my dear friend Patty who lives on the other end of the country. I love making these organizers especially and I haven't made one for a while, so it was great to slip in a little extra time today and finish it.

My papers are DCWV winter wonderland stack and Crumb cake from Stampin up. I also used one of my favorite little Christmas sets "Merry & Bright". It's just one of those little sets I grab all the time. I have had it for many years and love it!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful week and have gotten over your candy hangovers by now. I have a little one home sick so maybe a little more time tomorrow to add some fun goodies.

This adorable image is a digi from the Goth Kidz collection called "all wrapped up girl". Of course you can find her in the Squiggle Stamp store along with lots of other fun goodies!

May designer papers are from "My Minds Eye" all from a fabulous Christmas stack. I water coloured her with inks and added lots of layers. The poinsettia is cut from the same patterned paper and popped up a few layers. I added the ribbon to look a bit like a bow..and touched it off with some bling and glitter.

Hi everyone..How is everyone doing on this fine Friday night? It's chilly and cold, but the snow is to the east of us, so I am happy there!

Today I made another Christmas card. I am almost thinking I will be done on time the rate I am going! I love making different shaped cards so making this criss cross card was no different. Even better when I can use up some of my scraps..which I did of course :)

It may be a little hard to see but I added some glitter to the fur on santa and added sparkly flock to his beard and mustache. Added a few free hand lines around the edges and all finished :)

Yup..one more day til Friday!!!! I am so happy and looking forward to this weekend..not that I am doing anything special, just looking forward to a quiet few days :)

Today's card I used a set from Taylored expressions called "green acres" I don't actually own this one, I had to borrow it from my mom..the farm-a-hawlic :) I was using a different stamp and just had to make another card with it before I gave it back. It was too cute to resist. And the inside is..sorry it's pasture birthday..how cute is that?

I coloured directly on the card for this one...just sponged some clouds, stamped all my images and cut them out and popped them up after adding some glitter of course! My grass I used some mustard cardstock and used a grass punch to get it all grassy like :)

Let's go Skiing!

Hi everyone..I am here with another fun Squiggle stamp project to share with you!

Today I am using this darling image from the Goth Kidz collection called "ski girl" There are so many fun new images out for you to play with over at the squiggle stamps store! I sure hope you get a chance to head on oveer and give them all a peek!

My card today was a lot of fun to make. I think when I get to make themed based cards they are my favorite. I love creating scenes and this one had scene written all over it for me :)

I cut out the trees with my cricut and just made the mountains free hand. Inked everything up and cut out our cute little ski girl. Lots of pooping up and glitter and tinsel for the snow.

Celebrate the season!

Hello again everyone!!!!

It is going to be that time of year again..the cooler months are creeping up on us and so is the holiday season! It is such a wonderful time and I am hoping to get a lot of projects done early so I can just enjoy all of the festivities without stressing at the end. This means I must work on my cards now so I am not rushing at the last minute to get them all finished..I am sure no one knows what that is like..right??? (blush blush)

Today I used a super cute stamp "carol singers" from the Liliputs collection..my personal favorite! Yes..it's super cute, but aren't they all! Squiggle stamps has such a great collection of Christmas goodies, everyone can find something they just love too! I just can't get enough of all the fun and fabulous designs!

My papers are from stampin up and bo bunny. I added lots of layer because what else should you be doing in the winter time but layer it on! This should apply to all my projects too. I have cut around and popped up my image to give it a little extra life and added some sparkle and bling of course to finish it off. I hope you love it!!!!

Happy Halloween!

Hi everyone!!!!

I know I keep saying this, but I am going to get back into the groove soon! This is just crazy..I don't know how time flys by each week, but I really need to get into gear and get back to what I love. Life has really slowed down this week with our German students leaving, so I think its a good time to get back into gear! Plus I decided to make "me" time part of my day again!

Now..may I say...I love the new halloween images at Squiggle stamps! I am having too much fun with all of them!!! This not so scary guy is name simply "vampire boy" and of course you can find him here in the squiggle stamps shop!

I am so proud of myself, my papers are some more scraps I had around. I am trying so hard to make use of all of them. With the purple and green color combo, I just love the way the two fit in with halloween colours! My sentiment is just a sticker I had and I added a few embellishment bats and a little bling to make it extra spooky. Its hard to see, but I even added some crystal effects to the cape so it looks shiny and glossy.

I LOVE candy

Hello everyone..

So sorry it's been a while, I have been under the weather and finally getting back on my toes again. Also, we have also had a couple of exchange students from Germany with us since last week, so life as we know it has not been quite the same.

I had so much fun on the blog hop and I hope everyone followed each blog and had a good time and maybe even won a goodie or two along the way! I wanted to keep going with the fun new Halloween images Squiggle Stamps has released. This little lady is called "Mummy Ghoul" and I had so much fun making her sparkle and shine with some stardust glitter and a little bit of shading. My paper and embellishments are from my ever growing stack of scraps. They are from a K&Co collection and I thought they all fit perfect together. With this little girl holding her hands open wide, I thought it was perfect for holding the I love candy embellishment. I just added a little wire and finished.

I made this darling gift bag to fill with goodies this Halloween. I love how the other day I used a digi image and shrunk it down to make a tiny tote and today I made it extra big for a larger bag. The designer paper is stampin up and I used my cricut "mini monsters" to cut out the fence and tree. I Even double up skullys head and made a little spring so he wobbles a bit when you move it. Touched up the bones with a little glitter and a little black gel pen for the eyes.

Good Morning!!!

I can't tell you how excited I am about my project to share with you today. I didn't want to make just a card this week for the squiggles blog and thought I needed to have some gift card ready packages anyway, so make a fun bag/box. I used my cricut to cut out the tiny tote and used the "candle cupcake" stamp from squiggle stamps to finish it off. This is where digital makes the perfect projects. You can design it in any size you need it and it works out everytime. No more searching for the perfect size stamp! I doubled up the stamps in the background and cut out an extra the same size and popped it up in front. Of course I had to add some glitter and attached the tiny tags with some matching fibers. I left the little tags on the cupcake empty for now until I decide who is going to get my cutie tote!

My stamp today is part of the Lilliputs collection. She is called cherry tree swing and you can pick her up in the squiggles stamp store just by clicking here! My paper is from a paper stack from prima called melody. I added glitter to the cutie pie squirrel and to the dress and added some more bling all around. There is even some crystal effects to make it glossy, but thats a bit hard to see, I promise its there! My ribbon is American crafts. Inside message is "have a wonderful birthday"

Hello again everyone!!!

Finally I get to craft!!! This has been quite the summer with some ups and downs, but I decided yesterday, I really need to get back to my crafting to keep me sane! It really is my happy place and I really need to get back to it more. The girls are only home one more week, so I will do my best to fit time in for all of us :)
I bring to you a new image collection from Squiggle Stamps! This stamp is raggy pony from the new GOTH KIDS collection. I love all the new Goth kids, but I had to play with this one first because my daughter is obsessed with horses! I think I am going to stick it in her lunch box for the first day of school! I love adding little fun goodies just to let them know I miss them.
