Super Saturday Sketch #61

Happy Saturday Bloggers!
Here is my latest addition to the super Saturday sketch! When I finished this card, I have to say, I love this sketch. It will be perfect for so many different season, occasions that I know I will be using it over and over. I love when sometimes it just works that way!
My stamp is a cute stamp from Bugaboo stamps called BCrab Tubing and I added just a cute party hat for him and a snappy birthday sentiment. I used dazzling diamonds glitter on the cloud, stickles on the water. It's hard to see, but I added some crystal effects to the tube to give it a glassy look. Enjoy and I hope you get a chance to try the sketch!

Wild about you!

Good afternoon all!!!

I made this one yesterday but never got it up. Very little supplies to make this one. My background was a new sizzix folder I picked up this weekend..It had zebra stripes in it too :)
My leopard is just a 3D sticker I had. Very strange colors for me to use, but I love it!
Have a good rest of the afternoon.

Just Chicken In!!!

Hello and Happy Thursday!
One more day to go til the weekend!!! Yeah!!!!!!
Today is my day to post for the design team over at squiggle stamps! This is one of their brand new images called "feed the birds" I just love it! I have a feeling I will be able to do all sorts of fun projects with this one! If you love it, you can pick up a digital copy here in the Squiggle Stamps store! Love shopping for digital stamps. You buy them and get to use them right away..No waiting for them to be delivered :)
My papers are some super old scraps from provo craft pack river rock. This paper has been stashed for quite a while and I love the country look of it and thought it would be perfect. I am totally almost out of it, and I am thinking it's not available any longer, but I will have to look...oh does that mean craft shopping???
I sponged the ground and the sky and added stickles of course to make it sparkle. My sun is just some scraps and popped up.
Enjoy everyone and have a super fabulous Thursday!

Valentine goodies!

Happy Valentine's day Bloggers!!!
I hope everyone's love is giving them a special day today! My wonderful hubby gave me some beautiful flowers and we are headed out to lunch soon.
My girls were surprised this morning with these super fab Chinese gift boxes I made for them. All five boxes were decorated the same on the outside but embellished with a different valentine each on top. They were some cute Bo Bunny cut outs I picked up last year and I thought they would be fun to add to their boxes. Inside of course they are filled with yummy treats, lip gloss, little presents and their favorite..a $5 Starbucks gift card.
I think most of them were excited..some I think were still sleepy and getting ready for school. I think 6:45 to catch a bus on a Monday morning is not their favorite thing to do :)
It's so much fun having 5 daughters..I don't think boys would appreciate it the same way!
Have a wonderful day everyone!!!!!!

Thanks a bunch!

Hello bloggers!

It's my turn again to post a project for Squiggles blog! I am loving sharing my projects as a design team member there. Everyone is so talented. Everyday I walk away with a new idea for my next card/project!

Today I made a cute little 3x3 accordion style gift box and note card set. I even made fun matching envelopes. My stamp is one of Squiggle Stamps digi stamps called "picked for you" and you can pick her up here. I used some stampin up cardstock Pear and Peach. My designer paper is from My minds eye called laundry line. I had to add lots of stickles to make it all shine :)

I hope you like my box, now I just have to decide who gets it. I may just save it for the end of the year teacher gift.

If you get a chance, come check out the Squiggle Stamps Blog and look around..I promise you will love what you see!

Have a good afternoon everyone.

You warm my heart

Good afternoon blogger friends!
I can't believe it's Tuesday already. Another week somehow is just flying by! It seems like it was just the weekend and we were digging out of snow and in just three short days, it will be the weekend again. Hopefully that will go slow :)
Today's project is inspired by some brand new digi stamps I found. They are from "meljen's Designs" and are super cute. The best part is..This one was a freebie! Even better! Come take a look at all she has to offer here..I bet you will love them!
My papers today are super old designer paper from Stampin Up. I think it's called spring flowers or spring showers..not sure. When it retired I bought three packs of it because I loved it so much..It's almost finished now..I am using it sparingly :)
I added lots of fun stuff too. Cut some scrolls with my cricut "accent essentials" and added stickles of course, a Martha Stewart's edge punch and some silk flowers I picked up. Love those..just pull them off the stems and they work perfect!
I hope you enjoy the rest of your day!

Super Saturday Sketch #58

Good morning everyone!
It's time to bring another super Saturday sketch. In actuality, this is a pretty simple sketch, but once it's mix with all different papers, I love how the side is offset..I usually don't do that :) I love it. I know I will be reaching for this one over and over.
My stamp is from Stampin Up..if the halo fits. I have had this stamp set for quite some time and I pull it out frequently. It was surely a good investment! My papers are some foil scraps I had. I am not sure who they are by, so sorry for that.
I just popped up the heart and and added some bling and dazzling diamonds glitter to finish it off.
Enjoy the sketch, I hope you get a chance to try it!

Smile

Hi Bloggers!
I hope everyone is doing well on this Thursday night. We are all dug out of our home and street, but the rest of the neighborhood is such a mess of snow everywhere. Hopefully it will clear out soon.
I just have a quick card for you today. I made it for a friend of mine who helps me smile every time I talk to her. She hasn't been feeling well, so I thought this would perk her up a little.

My stamp is a pink cat studio digi named Lily valentine ballerina and you can pick her up here.
My papers are from an old 6x6 paper stack and I just added some primas with a little stickles and bling. My ribbon is American Crafts.

Enjoy everyone and have a great evening.

BBQ Birthday

Good afternoon blogger friends!

I know I am probably jumping the gun here with a blizzard happening right outside my window, but I just had to do it! My brothers birthday is coming up at the end of the month and I just had to make this card for him. He is a BBQ guru and I felt this image was perfect for it! Just because we are in the middle of winter, doesn't mean I can't dream about burgers and sausages right of the grill :)
The stamp is from digi stamp boutique and funny enough it's called "BBQ Jim" Funny because my brother's name is Jim. If you even look carefully at the apron, I used some rub ons and wrote the name Jim on the front :) If you love the stamp..you can find it here in the online store.
My papers are actually scraps. The base is more mustard from Stampin up. The tree is from cricut my community and the sun is just cut out with scraps. Being that it's for a guy..I was nice and only added stickles to the sun and a little gel pen for all the chrome.
Enjoy and hopefully we can have a cookout soon..I know the BBQ will be buried by morning, so not until a thaw for certain :)

Flower Pot Card

I haven't made one of these in a while. It was nice to do something different today. I cheated and used K& Co embellishments instead of making my own flowers though :) They already come covered in bling!!!
Enjoy and thanks for looking!

Super Saturday Sketch #56

Hello Bloggers!
Yes yes yes..My ritual of putting super Saturday sketches on Tuesdays has carried again. I went on an unexpected trip this weekend and wasn't able to post. I hope you like my little birthday sketch this week. I was able to use all scraps for it! I have one more little piece of this cute birthday paper left from KI memories. I just love the colors in it. I might just have to pick up another piece next time I am in the scrapbook store..Assuming they still carry it :)
My image is some me and my big idea rub ons I have had for a while. I was going to use them for scrapping, but I figured I could sneak a couple images out and use them for a birthday card. I am still trying to get a ready, set, mail collection of them so when birthdays come up..They are done!
Well, enjoy the sketch and I hope you get a chance to try it!

Whooo Loves you..Again!

BONUS CARD TODAY!
I loved this card design the first time so I just had to change it up a little and try another one.
This time I used the same paper and hand cut my tree and grass. My owls are made using the two step owl punch from Stampin Up. I had to add the google eyes to make them more fun..of course! The sky is airbrushed with copics and the hearts are also punches from SU. I think I have totally fell in love with this way to use up some more of those scraps.
Have a wonderful everyning everyone!

You are Great!

Good afternoon everyone.

It's Thursday so we have just one more day until the weekend. I couldn't be happier. This week has been another one of those crazy weeks. I am glad it's not boring, but we could have a little less excitement so I have more time to play with all of my goodies!

This cutie pie was made with a Stampin Up set called under the stars. I have had it for a while and just haven't really had a chance to use it much. I think it's one of those I am going to have to keep on the top just to use a little more.

I added the sentiment and tied it with raffia to make it a sign he was holding. I figured he had his hands wide open, he was just asking to hold something. My paper is from a DCWV paper stack called simply..the green stack. It's made with all woody designs and is on recycled paper..Gotta love saving the planet!

Well, I hope you like him and all of you are GRRRREAT too! Thanks for looking!

Buzzin By

Hello everyone. I hope everyone is doing well and just a little warmer than I am. I am pretty sure I am ready for spring. I would be happy with a little more snow, but the warm kind you can play in. It's expected to be about 0* in the morning and I am certainly not ready for that again.
Today my card is all about the bees! This one is a pretty simple design, but a little more time due to all the detail and cutting of the images. A good pair of scissors is a definite must for this one!
The stamp set is called Just buzzin' by from stampin up. and all my cardstock and designer paper is from stampin up also. I just added a little glitter to the wings and some brads and my card was finished. I have to say I love the simplicity of it, and all of my elements matched so nicely, it was the perfect bonus.
I hope you enjoy it. Have a wonderful evening!

Super Saturday Sketch #55

Welcome to another super Saturday sketch!
First of all..Let me apologize for the photo..I have no idea how it got so crazy crooked, but I think it still works.
It's a day late..again :( We had a cheer competition that seemed to take forever and I pretty much just dropped as soon as I could when I got home. But a little late is better than not at all :)
I have to say, this one was a lot of fun to just throw some pieces in there. I had a lot of these leftovers from another card and just started cutting them and placing them. I really like the idea and I will have to play with it some more with some other scraps.
My stamp is another oldie from Stampin Up called animal valentines. I coloured him, and cut him out. Added some string and a few hearts so he looks like he is holding some balloons. Added a sweet sentiment and all finished.
Well, I hope you enjoy it and get a chance to try with some of your own scraps.

Whoo Loves you!

YEAH!!! It's FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!
I haven't been so happy to see Friday in such a ling time. This week has been one big roller coaster ride and I will be thrilled to maybe get the chance to sleep in tomorrow. I hope you get the chance to take advantage of the weekend whatever your plans may be.
My card today has been totally inspired by the scraps on my desk. I was looking at the brown pattern paper and thought it would make the perfect tree. Somehow that is how it started and I love how it ended. I just free cut the trunk and the leaves. I used my airbrush for the clouds and added some more torn scraps for the grass. Last but not least, I added some Bo Bunny rub on's and a little bit of bling. So cute and so much fun.
Enjoy..and have a wonderful weekend.

It's actually from my stash from last year called lucky stripe by Reminisce was a perfect match and finishing the card with some stickers..also from Reminisce and some ribbon made this a nice easy design to work with. Free day!

Hello everyone.

I really haven't been feeling so well today, but wanted to play. I wasn't sure what I was going to do when I sat down, but these are my two projects I wanted to share for today.

My first card I had to make. I have been wanting to make a summer card for a while now and everything else has taken over. If you have been following me, you know by now I LOVE mermaids! I am guessing why this project just fell together today. The waves and sand are just some white torn paper inked with some great beachy colors and my sun is just made from scraps. My stamp is from Pink Cat Studio. Click here for their fabulous website.

My second card is just a fun little valentine I put together from a VERY old SU set called toucan of my love. It's a fun little set to bring out this time of the year. Some of my oldies get pushed to the back sometimes so I love bringing them out. My leaves are made with my life's a beach cricut cartridge.
Well, hopefully I will feel better tomorrow and bring you a little more wow, in the meantime, enjoy..stay warm!

Happy Birthday to You

Happy Friday scrappy friends!

A little bitty birthday again today. This is a fun stamp from CC Designs that I am sure you have seen me use many times before. I love it!
I was feeling like I was missing some summer today and wanted to do something cheery and bright. I think I accomplished that. My paper is a brand new pack that hopped into my cart and thanks to my moms wallet is now in my possession. (thanks mom) It's called where the heart is by my minds eye. It's all glittery just like I like it and such fun bright colors. I know I will be using this pack over and over! I just finished it off with some primas and jewels and some SU ribbon. I hope you like it..and one more birthday card added to my pile :)

Have a fabulous weekend everyone!

House Mouse Birthday

Good morning everyone!
One of my goals this year is to keep up on all of my birthday cards. I seem to run out just as soon as I make them. I am going to try and make a couple birthday and a couple Christmas cards each week so I have a good supply of them year round...and ready for Christmas when it gets here again..now lets see if that really happens. Sometimes life just makes up it's own mind!
For my card today I have a darling little house mouse card. This guy is just a little stinker holding the tack ready to pop the balloon and wake up the adorable sleeping mouse. I think in the end, he will be good and not really do it though :)
I love all of the colors in this card too. I copied them from the stamp itself, I was feeling a little color challenged today, so it made it easy for me! My paper is party wishes from KI memories. I was so smart last time I was in Achivers I remembered to pick up some birthday paper..since I am always complaining with the 1000 plus sheets of paper around here, I can never find just the right one. So now...for a while anyway, I have a little birthday stash to work with.
I hope you enjoy the day today and maybe find the little silliness inside yourself too..just like our stinker of a mouse!

shop and play

Hello all my crafty friends! What a wonderful day it's been creating and making a scrappy mess all over! Some days the juices just flow a lot better than others and today was one of those days.

I took out some old stamps again today. I haven't played with my Bella stamps for quite a while. I bet they were happy to come out an play too!

My first card was made with daisyboardabella. She looks fabulous in her winter clothes all ready to ride the mountain! We are out of snow here, and I can tell you, it just doesn't feel right without it. I am ready for some more about now! I used a small K&co mat stack called hopscotch girl, soft souffle from stampin up and added a little hardware and ribbon for an extra splash. I am not sure the photo shows it well, but the fur on the boots and the poofs on her hat have sparkly fluff added so they are nice and soft. I also coloured her with my copics of course ~E57,55,53,00 G21,20 R00,01,02,20,05 BG15

My second card today is inspired by my little miss Kimberly. She loves Chanel (understatement) and when I saw this stamp years ago, I had to pick it up. Both are bellas. The girl is name Emmybella. I don't have this stamp, but a wonderful friend of mine Gayle in North Carolina stamped it for me one day..It's my very last one, so I may just have to pick it up myself soon..I do love it!!! The papers used are again from a scrap stack Neopolitan..also from K&Co. Paper is Lavender from SU..now retired :( Copics used for this one..BG32,R20 E35,33,00,55,53 N3,2, W1

I hope everyone had a super fab day like I did and has an even better tomorrow!!!!!

Cup of Cocoa

Hi again everyone!
It's really cold here again, so what better to warm you up but a nice warm cup of cocoa! This darling stamp is from CC designs and she is part of the sugar plums collection. Her name is Cocoa Emma and you can pick her up here in the all that scraps online store. I used rubber, but they also have her in digital..if you like digital better.
My paper I just picked up yesterday. It's all foil snowflakes and they are hard to see in the photo, but all pretty and shiny! I really wanted to add some additional snowflakes, but even with all the supplies I have here, I couldn't find just the perfect ones for my card.
Card Recipe:
Stamps: CC Designs "Cocoa Emma"
Paper: Stampin UP "regal Rose" "Soft Suede"
Pattern Paper: KI Memories "Joyful Twinkle"
Ink: Momento
Copic Markers: YG01,03 R30,32,35,20 YR02,00 BG72 Y23 YR23 E35,33,31,37,11,00
Misc: Pearl bling, dazzling diamonds

Super Saturday Sketch #53

Hello everyone..Welcome to another Super Saturday Sketch!!!

I wasn't sure if I was going to carry them over into the new year, but I figured, even though there aren't any prizes for doing them, I am hoping you are getting some ideas for your everyday cards. I know when I am in a pinch and have crafters block, I just look back at some sketches and things just fall into place. I figured it doesn't hurt to add a sketch once a week.

You should be impressed today, My sketch card does not have any glitter on it! I couldn't believe it myself when I finished and didn't need to add any. I did have to add the google eyes on this cutie moose though :)
My stamp set for this card is from Stampin up. It's called "Moose You" and this is actually the first time I have ever used it. It was hiding in in the back of all my stamps I I totally forgot about it. I have no idea how I could have done that..considering he is a super cute moose! I stamped him twice and cut the head out and pop ditted him on so he is 3D. I don't think you can really tell from the photo, but it makes a nice effect.
My Designer paper is super old from SU. It's only one sided, so if you know stampin up, you know it dates back just a few years :) My card stock is sahara sand and chocolate chip, and my hearts are made with regal rose and pretty in pink. I added some pink SU ribbon to finish the card off.
Enjoy this weeks sketch and if you get a chance to use it, just leave me a comment with a link to your card so I can peek too!

You float my boat~

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Are you straggling up from a long night of celebrating? It was nice to actually sleep in today. I think it is the first time in 4 months :)

My card today is from one of my favorite Stampin Up sets "boatloads of love". It has so many parts you can change it up all you want. Those are my favorite sets..you can make many different designs, with just one set.

It's actually a pretty simple card design, but that is what makes it one of my favorites. My clouds I just added using a swab with some cats eye pad and brushed the bottom with another. Of coarse I had to add some glitter! What would I do without glitter!!

Have a good day everyone and may this new year bring you many blessings!
